About Us & Our Firewood
The Wood Boy is a family owned and run business local to the Wollondilly Shire.

Our aim is to provide quality firewood to our local community and beyond, while at the same time educating our customers about firewood and fireplace health.
We strive to provide outstanding customer service and customer satisfaction.
All our wood is ethically sourced from the Sydney Metropolitan and Southern Highland areas and carefully assessed for quality upon arrival at our yard.

We take pride in ensuring our wood is sorted according to species so our customers receive exactly what they order.

In accordance with industry standards, all firewood sold by The Wood Boy contains a moisture content of less than 25% for optimal heat.
Our premium range of Ironbark, Redgum and Yellowbox are all separately blocked, split and stockpiled so our customers can choose from a one wood-type order, or a blend of all three premium woods. This provides peace of mind to our customers in knowing exactly what they will receive when ordering from The Wood Boy.

The Wood Boy is a proud member of the Firewood Association of Australia Incorporated and takes pride in complying with the Voluntary Code of Practice for Firewood Suppliers.
For your convenience we offer delivery and some pick up services. We do not offer a stacking service.
Minimum delivery order is 1 cubic metre (surcharge applies) with free delivery available to select areas on orders of 2 cubic metres or more.
**Our truck cages are filled to 2.2 cubic metres allowing for airspace, assuring you receive the correct amount of firewood.
